Shariah-Compliance

Shariah-Compliance

At Atelier DTG, we understand the importance of conducting business in accordance with Islamic principles. We are committed to ensuring that our transactions are Shariah-compliant for our Muslim customers.

Our Commitment to Halal Business Practices

We have structured our business model to align with Islamic commercial law (Fiqh al-Muamalat) and ensure that all transactions are conducted in a manner that is permissible under Shariah.

Istisna Agreement - Our Transaction Model

Our business operates under the Istisna contract model, which is a well-established and Shariah-compliant form of transaction in Islamic commercial law.

What is Istisna?

Istisna is a contract of sale for goods that are to be manufactured or constructed according to agreed specifications. This contract type is specifically recognized and permitted in Islamic jurisprudence for custom-made products.

How We Apply Istisna

Our products are made through a third-party manufacturer. As we are a Print on Demand business, we strive to make our method of transactions Shariah-compliant for Muslims and thus we follow:

Istisna Conditions

Our products are produced on-demand after you place an order, under an Istisna agreement. This means products are custom-made and not pre-stocked. As your order is manufactured and fulfilled by a third-party supplier, any defects or issues with the product will be addressed in accordance with our policies. We remain responsible for ensuring that products meet the agreed specifications and will coordinate with our manufacturer to resolve any quality issues.

Key Benefits of Our Istisna Model

  • No Interest (Riba) - Our transactions are free from any form of interest
  • No Gambling (Gharar) - Products are made according to clear specifications
  • Genuine Trade - Real goods are manufactured and delivered
  • Transparency - Clear terms and conditions for all transactions
  • Quality Assurance - We ensure products meet agreed specifications

Our Responsibility

Under the Istisna agreement, we take full responsibility for:

  • Ensuring products are manufactured according to your specifications
  • Coordinating with our third-party manufacturers
  • Addressing any quality issues or defects
  • Delivering products that meet the agreed standards

Religious Assurance

We have carefully structured our business model to ensure compliance with Islamic principles. Our Print on Demand model under the Istisna framework allows Muslim customers to purchase with confidence, knowing that their transactions are conducted in accordance with Shariah law.
